My Specialties
INDIVIDUAL COUNSELING
Looking for relief from anxiety or depression? Struggling with self-limiting beliefs or preparing for a significant life transition? Want to expand your self-identity or get more from your relationships? The encouragement and feedback from talk therapy create a connection when you want to be heard or need to be seen, understood, and supported.

COUPLES COUNSELING
Think about what it would be like to feel truly heard at home, not just during sessions. Whether you and your partner are facing challenges or want to strengthen your relationship, couples counseling can help you grow together. We’ll work to find shared goals that reflect both of your hopes, supporting you on your journey. I welcome both heterosexual and LGBTQ couples and offer a safe space to talk about communication and sex positivity.

ADDICTION
Acknowledging you need help is never easy, but it’s one of the best things you can do for yourself. Whether you want to control or moderate your alcohol or drug use, or explore the role addiction plays in your life, you are being proactive. Addiction is a family illness that inevitably alters the lives of everyone.
CODEPENDENCY
Codependency is driven by the agreement that "I will work harder on your problems and your life than you do." This is not love. I help those affected by loved ones' unhealthy behaviors learn to set healthy boundaries and say 'no' without guilt, clearly defining what is and isn't within their control.

SCHEMA THERAPY
It may not be easy to recognize, but the relationship patterns developed with your primary caregiver in childhood can continue in all your relationships throughout life. Schema therapy uses an evidence-based approach to help you identify these patterns, empowering you to realign yourself and enhance your relationships.

EATING DISORDERS & BODY IMAGE
Many people with eating disorders feel unsure about making changes, like eating differently or gaining weight. A big part of treatment is helping you take those steps and manage anxiety. Often, the eating disorder takes over other parts of life. Along with counseling, working with a licensed dietitian is important for recovery. I can recommend local dietitians who offer support and guidance.

Please note: I use the NEDA Guidelines for levels of care and only offer Level One, Outpatient services, which are the Action and Maintenance phases. https://www.nationaleatingdisorders.org/toolkit/parent-toolkit/level-care-guidelines-patients
